Event Rules

Welcome to the Karneval der Kulturen!

We celebrate TOGETHER! Everyone who is here must know that attention, consideration and respect for the needs of others are the top priority at the Carnival. Visitors, residents and the smooth running of the event must be protected!

We must therefore publicise a number of rules and prohibitions:

General Rules of Conduct

  • All individuals entering the event grounds must behave in a way that does not harm, endanger, obstruct, or unreasonably disturb others.
  • Entry to the event area is at your own risk.
  • All individuals must immediately follow the instructions of the police, fire department, security, emergency services, and representatives of the event organizers.
  • Anyone who intentionally or negligently fails to comply with these instructions will be immediately removed from the event grounds.
  • Gatherings or demonstrations are prohibited on the event site.

Security Checks

The security and stewarding team appointed by the organizer is authorized to check whether individuals pose a security risk due to alcohol or drug use, or possession of dangerous or flammable items.

With the individual's consent, the security team may inspect clothing and carried items.

Anyone who poses a security risk or refuses to consent to an inspection may be denied entry or removed from the grounds.

Recording & Media Use

Filming, TV, and audio recordings are prohibited, except by media representatives authorized by the organizer.

Please do not leave trash behind.

Image and Sound Rights

By entering the event, all individuals irrevocably consent — free of charge — to the use of their image and voice for photographs, live broadcasts, recordings, and other media created by the organizer or their representatives in connection with the event or for informational purposes.

No legal claims can be made in relation to the use of your image or voice in this context.
